FAQ
Press and hold the band release button on the back of the watch, then slide the band out sideways. Slide the new band in until it clicks. aulumu bands (including A01 case-with-band for Apple Watch Ultra and A11/A02 bands) use the same slide‑in mechanism—never pull upward.
Place the watch face-down on a soft cloth, press and hold the release button, and slide the band out sideways. If it sticks, keep the button pressed and wiggle gently—don’t pry upward. This works the same with aulumu bands/covers.
Remove the band first. Wipe FKM/sport bands with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry fully. For metal bands, use a soft brush for gaps and dry thoroughly. Avoid bleach and strong solvents—especially on coated finishes.
Use the method that matches the clasp: buckle bands adjust by holes; loop/Velcro bands adjust by sliding; magnetic buckle bands adjust by repositioning the clasp and then locking it. Aim for a snug fit that doesn’t pinch—tight enough for sensors to read, loose enough for comfort.
Aulumu watch bands generally fall into a few core types—each designed for a different feel, look, and use case:
Titanium alloy link bands (premium metal): A high-end, “real watch” look with a solid, lightweight feel—ideal for office and business wear (e.g., Hi-Per titanium alloy with DLC coating and a magnetic clasp).
Nylon bands with magnetic buckle / quick-release: Breathable, lightweight, and highly adjustable—great for everyday comfort, travel, and long wear. Some styles combine a titanium buckle with a magnetic quick-release system plus hook-and-loop stability.
Sport bands (FKM/fluoroelastomer): Sweat-resistant, easy to clean, and built for workouts—balanced comfort + durability for active use.
Garmin QuickFit bands: QuickFit-compatible options built for Garmin sizes (e.g., 22mm/26mm) if you’re not on Apple Watch.
How to choose: If you want the most premium finish, go titanium; for all-day comfort and fast on/off, pick a magnetic nylon quick-release; for gym and sweat, choose an FKM sport band. Always match your exact watch model/size shown on the product page to ensure a seamless fit.
How to Choose the Right Watch Band
The right watch band should match both your watch and the way you wear it every day. Aulumu’s watch band collection includes premium titanium options, magnetic quick-release styles, Apple Watch Ultra case-with-band combinations, and Garmin-compatible bands, giving users a wider range of material, fit, and lifestyle choices.
Start with the Right Watch Model
Apple Watch Ultra, standard Apple Watch, and Garmin models do not share the same connection standards. The right band starts with matching your exact watch type, size, and connector format so the fit feels seamless and secure.
Titanium vs. Magnetic vs. Sport Styles
Titanium bands are better when you want the most premium finish and a more structured look. Magnetic buckle designs work well for fast on and off with lighter daily adjustment. FKM sport styles are better when comfort, sweat resistance, and active wear matter more.
Apple Watch Ultra Users May Want More Than a Band
For Apple Watch Ultra, some users want not only a new strap but also a more complete case-and-band upgrade. That makes a case-with-band option more useful when you want a stronger visual transformation and more complete protection around the watch body.
Garmin Users Need Compatibility First
Garmin bands should be chosen around the correct QuickFit size and intended use. That means comfort and daily wear matter, but exact fit still comes first because a mismatch affects security and overall usability.
Think About All-Day Wear, Not Just Looks
The best watch band should feel good from morning to night. Weight, breathability, fastening speed, and how the material behaves during work, commute, gym, and travel all matter just as much as the finish itself.
