If you encounter any problems while using aulumu G09, you can refer to the following user guide for solutions.
G09 Detailed Specifications
The aulumu G09 consists of two magnetic rings and a finger ring. The product package includes one G09, one replacement finger ring, one magnetic ring, and an instruction manual. The finger ring is detachable and comes in two versions: a black one and a glow-in-the-dark one. These two versions conform better to the feel of the hand during use, providing a more comfortable experience. The glow-in-the-dark one illuminates in low-light conditions. Both magnetic rings have silicone anti-slip rings on their magnetic surfaces to prevent slippage.
The G09 has a diameter of 2.41 inches, a thickness of 0.25 inches, and weighs 35g. It's slightly larger than a 3cm mineral water bottle cap, about the thickness of an Oreo cookie without the filling, and probably lighter than a carton of instant coffee. It's very portable and easily fits in a normal clothing pocket. The two magnetic rings use the strongest N54 double-layered magnets available on the market, generating a strong magnetic force during use. The top cover has a magnetic force of 16.67N when used with a metal cabinet, and can withstand a horizontal pull of 1.7kg. It requires pulling with a 2L bottle of cola horizontally to move it; even a pet cat or dog would have difficulty pulling it open. The bottom cover can withstand a horizontal pull of 3kg (29.41N), equivalent to lifting two 1.5L mineral water bottles, and a vertical pull of 2.8kg (27.45N), similar to lifting 3kg of rice with one hand. Therefore, it is virtually impossible for it to fall off due to shaking or other reasons. Meanwhile, to ensure that the bracket plays its maximum role during use, the magnetic attraction of the upper and lower covers has undergone multiple experiments to achieve a balance between the magnetic attraction on both sides.
The G09 hinge has an opening and closing force of 25-30N per centimeter, like pushing open a door with slight resistance. It can firmly fix your opening and closing angle. The hinge can rotate freely from 0° to 360° to meet the needs of various scenarios. At the same time, the hinge has an opening and closing life of more than 20,000 times. If you open and close it 10 times a day, it can be used for about 5.5 years.

G09 Magnetizing Ring
In daily use, we can't always encounter a flat surface with magnetic attraction. Therefore, aulumu equipped the G09 with a magnetic ring, which helps you magnetically attach the stand to a flat surface when it's not magnetically attached.
For example, on some flat metal surfaces that lack strong magnetic attraction, the holder may slip or fall off. In such cases, a magnetic ring is needed. Similarly, on non-metallic surfaces, which are even less likely to attract magnetically, a magnetic ring is also required. By using a magnetic ring, you can ensure that your holder adheres more firmly to the surface, preventing it from slipping or falling off.

G09 Q&A
Q1: When removing the G09 stand from other metal surfaces, the phone detaches from the stand.
A: When removing the stand from the iron-containing surface, the stand sometimes remains on the iron-containing surface while the phone detaches. Both the top and bottom covers of the G09 use N54 dual-layer magnets. The difference in magnetic force between the top and bottom covers is normal. After repeated experiments, our designers have adopted the optimal magnetic force distribution design. This situation occurs because the different magnetic media and the magnets on the top cover produce different magnetic force strengths. If the Magsafe's magnetic conductivity and magnetic release area are both lower than the iron surface, the actual magnetic force between the Magsafe surface and the bottom cover of the G09 will be less than the actual magnetic force between the top cover and the contact surface. This will cause the stand to remain on the iron-containing surface during separation. This is normal and not a quality issue with the product itself. To reduce the occurrence of this situation, when removing the stand, you can hold down the bottom cover and the phone with one hand to ensure that the phone does not fall off when removing the stand.
Q2: G09 is not stable enough when adsorbing onto other metal surfaces.
A: The common utensils we use in our daily lives mainly contain the following types of metals: aluminum alloy, copper/brass, zinc alloy, 304/316 stainless steel, 201/430 stainless steel, ordinary steel (carbon steel), and iron. Among these metals, aluminum alloy, copper/brass, zinc alloy, and 304/316 stainless steel are non-magnetic, 201/430 stainless steel has weak magnetism, ordinary steel (carbon steel) has moderate magnetism, and iron has the strongest magnetism. Different utensils use different metals, and some utensils have surfaces that are not smooth and have a grainy texture, or the utensils themselves do not contain any metal. When adsorbing onto these surfaces with weak or even no magnetism, the support may become unstable and slip off. Considering this situation, aulumu specifically designed a magnetic ring during the product design process. The magnetic ring ensures that when the support is used on metal surfaces with low magnetic content, some non-metallic surfaces, or uneven surfaces, it can remain stable and prevent slippage or detachment.
Q3: The glow-in-the-dark ring of G09 does not light up.
A: The G09 ring comes in two versions: a black ring and a glow-in-the-dark ring. When using the glow-in-the-dark ring, it needs to be placed under a light source to absorb and store the light. The longer the light absorption time, the brighter the glow-in-the-dark ring will be. If no light is absorbed and stored, the ring will be dim or not glow at all. The light source can be sunlight or any other light source.
Q4: The G09 bracket is difficult to open.
A: Because the G09 uses a high-quality N54 double-layer magnet, the magnetic attraction between the top and bottom covers is quite strong. Therefore, it may be difficult to open and close the cover initially. This is normal and not a defect or manufacturing flaw. The opening and closing will become easier with repeated use.
Q5: Does the G09 support wireless charging?
A: The G09 supports wireless charging, but for a smoother charging experience, we recommend removing the G09 before wireless charging. If you prefer to use a stand for wireless charging, open the top cover of the G09 before charging and place the bottom cover against the wireless charging surface. This closer proximity will result in smoother charging. (The effective charging distance is approximately 3.2mm, which is supported by most mainstream wireless charging devices on the market.)
However, the following special circumstances should be noted:
- If the surface of the wireless charger is less than 3.2mm raised or flat, it may not be able to successfully connect to MagSafe for charging.
- If the radius of the MagSafe wireless charging sensing area is larger than the radius of the G09 stand's ring, it will not be able to connect to MagSafe and complete charging successfully.
Q6: The magnetic attraction feels weak when using the phone without a case.
A: When using the G09 without a case, the magnetic attraction on the back of the phone is insufficient, while the magnetic attraction of the top and bottom covers is strong. This can cause the G09 to detach completely when opening the case. Therefore, we recommend using the G09 with a MagSafe case instead of without a case. This will make the magnetic attraction of the top and bottom covers more even, reducing the chance of it detaching completely. When removing the G09, you can also press down on the bottom cover with your hand to increase the magnetic attraction between the bottom cover and the phone.
